This is Lucas. He’s only seven years old and until recently he’s been extremely healthy. Over the last few months he’s been declining. He has a heart murmur that only seems to be getting worse but no one can pinpoint a cause or a cure. I’m currently pregnant with twins but I’ve been doing my best to save my first baby,Lucas. I’ve taken him to a couple of doctors and he’s had echocardiograms as well as an abdominal sonogram plus numerous X-rays. He is on three different medication‘s to help his heart. He does have some Really good days and that gives me hope but some days are very bad. He’s lost a lot of weight and I’ve been in and out of the vets offices with him. Some days he’s struggling to breathe and it’s just devastating to watch. I love him and I want to help him so badly. The vets believe that part of his struggle to breathe is because there’s fluids pressing against his organs, so we adjust the medication and he does get better but then he gets worse again. I’ve spent thousands of dollars between his primary vet as well as numerous tests. I’m at a point where I don’t know what to do but I want to save my boy. This situation is really just overwhelming and heartbreaking to watch. I hate to see him struggling like this and I want him to feel better. I can’t even think of euthanizing him without trying everything in my power first so that’s why I am turning here for help. My last hope is to get him to a specialist for an opinion. I’m begging for your help to get him there. Any amount is appreciated and no amount is too small. Even after everything he’s been through he remains the sweetest and happiest boy. I feel like he wants to live and I want to help him. He means everything to me and I’m not ready to give up on him. With everything I am, I’m asking for help to save him.
