Our family is broken-hearted over the loss of a  remarkable man. Kris was an amazing father, a devoted husband and a warm and wonderful friend. He was smart and kind and we will feel his loss significantly for many years to come. He was also a Star Wars-loving Florida State fanatic  who spoke fluent sarcasm. He loved a good t.v. binge and cake and probably attended more multi-media pop culture conventions than the America board of Psychiatrics would deem sane.

Kris passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep.

Anyone who knows Kris, knows he was passionate  about learning and education. (Go Noles!) We can not think of a better way to honor his memory than to provide for his son Wyatt's educational future.  

Though he was published in journals many times over and the author of several books currently in print today, Kris would argue that Wyatt was far and away his greatest legacy. It would give Kris eternal joy knowing his son's education was placed in such high regard.
