Hello, my name is John, and I'm in the fight of my life. Last fall, I received the devastating news that I have prostate cancer. The doctors have told me that without treatment, I might only have one to possibly two years left to live.

This diagnosis has turned my world upside down. The thought of leaving my wife alone to deal with all the bills and expenses is tearing me apart. I've been working as a traveling machinist, trying to secure another contract to support us, but so far, I haven't had any luck.

The funds I'm hoping to raise through this fundraiser are crucial. They will be used for my treatment and to catch up on the bills that I've fallen behind on. I don't want to burden my wife with this financial stress on top of everything else.

I've always been a proud man, and asking for help like this is difficult for me. But I'm running out of options, and I can't do this alone. I need support, not just for me, but for my wife, who has been my rock throughout this ordeal.
