May 29, 2025 UPDATE: Cindy is home to get the house set up for Pat to come home, probably on Tuesday. He will be on hospice and palliative care. Pat and Cindy could use any financial help they can get. I have set up an account at Kirkpatrick Bank in Westcliffe. It is under Peggi Collins FBO Pat Neverdahl.

May 21, 2025 UPDATE: Pat has been able to get out of bed and start PT to walk. The goal is to get him stable enough to be able to go home. While that is definitely good news, it will mean that Cindy will be his full-time caregiver and will not be able to work outside the home. Keep those prayers and dollars coming!

Our dear friend, Pat Neverdahl, is hospitalized at UC Health in Denver. He had orthopedic surgery on his left femur, which was riddled with cancer. Since the surgery last Thursday, the doctors have been unable to stabilize his blood pressure. They are very concerned about stroke or heart attack. His wife, Cindy, will be staying in Denver until he can be released, so she will be unable to work. They have no savings, and there are bills due that they can't pay. I am asking for your donation, no matter how small, so they don't have to worry about anything but Pat's recovery. I will keep this page updated with his progress.
