Recovery for Joey Scott

My brother in-law Joey was in a motor vehicle accident the morning of 12/20/2021. He was life-flighted to Grady where he is still in the trauma unit due to the severity of his injuries.

*** I want to personally thank the men who stayed with Joey until medics arrived. Our community never ceases to amaze me.

 

Joey is responsive but very agitated and confused so the doctors are trying to make him as comfortable as possible. I will update daily on his progress. As of right now there is a lot of unknown. 

 

As friends and family we are heart sick by this news. My goal is to alleviate financial burden for medical costs, time off from work, hotel stays for Kimberly (his wife), and help with his two children.

 

I also ask to please keep Kimberly, Kaitlyn, and Landon in your thoughts and prayers as they process this situation. For Joey, pray for healing as he undergoes surgeries and transitions into recovery. It will be a very long process.
