Michelle's victory in Jesus

Let us start by saying thank you to everyone for all of your prayers, new and during Michelle's recent surgeries and recovery. She is healing up well and feeling pretty good! Praise God! To those who are just hearing of this news, allow me to explain. On April 21st, she went to the doctor with some pain in her lower abdomen and found out there was a mass inside her right ovary. Two days later, on the 23rd, she was checking into the hospital to have a complete hysterectomy. There were some complications and some major blood loss that required a blood transfusion. The next day the doctor informed us that the mass in her ovary was malignant. Also the pathologist had determined that the cancer did not originate in the ovary but actually in the colon and had metastasized to both ovaries and a fallopian tube. Her diagnosis was stage 1 ovarian cancer, and stage 4 colon cancer. After lots of tests, a second blood infusion and lots of antibiotics, she was headed to surgery number 2, exactly 7 days after the first surgery. The surgeon removed 11 inches of her colon and resected it back together and by the grace of god, she was able to wake up and find out that she didn't require a colostomy and the doctor felt he got all of the cancer out! Now her next step is to start chemo treatments on June 17th, after a few treatments, she'll be evaluated for radiation treatments as well. She will need chemo every other week for 6 months and possibly 6 weeks of radiation. Due to her not having medical insurance, we have set up this GoFund me account for donations to help with all of the expenses. No amount is to small, all donations are welcome and appreciated! If you are unable to donate, we just ask that you keep her and her family in your prayers as they take this journey! No worries, We know God's grace is sufficient!
