Family and friends, as most of you know, Alicia (my mom) was diagnosed with melanoma back in 2007, and although she thought her battle was over, she was rediagnosed in 2014. She underwent two seperate surgeries to remove the cancer, but it unfortunately metastized (spread) to her lung and became metastatic melanoma. She began treatments and after her third treatment she developed menengitis which resulted in another hospital stay and the inability to perform the final treatment. Despite all of that, with everyone's support and prayers, something amazing happened ... The cancer was gone! Although there is a 50% chance of It metastizing again, she is in remission.
During her first diagnoses in March 2014 to her final PET scan in March 2015 she experienced many complications which resulted in multiple hospital stays, doctor visits and procedures and her bills began to pile up.
My mom is the single most kind hearted person I know, and I'm sure you can all say the same. She has such a strong faith and caring heart, always showing up with a smile and willing to go the extra mile for everyone. I want to help ease the stress and pain of her financial burden so she can fully enjoy being CANCER FREE!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support and continuous prayers are a blessing. ❤️
