Anyone that knows Robyn, knows a couple of things:
- She is a wonderful mom, friend, teammate, and coach and will always give everything she has to her people.
- That she is a leave it all on the field kind of gal, with grit and determination to face all the challenges thrown her way on and off the ice + diamond.
- That she is a private person, more likely to shoot you a smile through her pain than complain.
Because of that grit, determination and privacy, you may or may not know all that Robyn has been facing for the past two years. With a degenerative disc condition and injuries to her back, Robyn has been facing chronic pain as she deals with the ebbs and flows of her condition. She has had all the physio, chiro, and injections her health insurance will allow and while the ultimate cause and solution to her intense pain allude, she barely let's on to the outside world.
Robyn may be facing surgery, or at the least, many more treatments, an out of pocket MRI and potentially months of debilitating pain. We send out this GoFundMe to rally support from those that Robyn has supported, and to show our gal #5 that we have all got her back!
