Hi, my name is Ally. Asking for help is something I truly hate doing, but right now our family is in a tough spot.
When the flood hit our hometown this summer, my husband Andrew lost his job, and the summer work I had lined up fell through. We’ve been doing everything we can—picking up side jobs, selling items we don’t use anymore, and helping others in our community who lost even more than we did.
Now, I’m about to start my new job as a special education aide at the school my boys attend, and Andrew will be starting work again soon too. We’re on the right track, but we’re still about $1,600 behind on bills and just need a little help to bridge the gap until paychecks start coming in.
We’re not asking for handouts—we’re both willing to work for it, and I’ve been offering house cleaning, odd jobs, and whatever else I can do. But with everything happening at once, we could really use some extra support.
Anything you can give—whether it’s a donation, sharing this page, or even just words of encouragement—means more than you know. ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us get through this bump in the road.
Our family motto has always been “we rise by lifting others,” and now we’re humbly asking for a little lift ourselves❤️
