My name is Emily Neustaeter, and I am the author of the new children's book "We Have Already Slain the Dragons".

Story Summary:

A knight on a quest for dragons arrives in a village. He is battle worn and weary but not too weary to tell his tale to the curious children who have gathered near. However, he soon finds that the children have a tale of their own to tell.

Why a Children's Book:

Well, I could have written a book for adults and perhaps someday I will. However, this book came to me as a simple, inviting story that even a child can understand and take ahold of before life comes to attack. As a mother to three powerful children myself, I am reminded that in them lies the hope for a better future and I want them to know that now. This fun, adventurous tale will empower families to destroy the small lies in our minds before they become strong realities in our lives. I see adults and children alike stepping into this story one way and coming out the other side full of hope, joy, and freedom. That may even lead into dancing in the streets.
