Just before the 4th of July I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. 3 years ago I was disabled and am no longer able to work so all the earning lands on my husband. He is doing everything he can for our son and me but the bills from my treatment are drowning us. I had the bulk of the tumor removed at the end of October and I will have a Radioactive Iodine treatment in January to hopefully kill the rest. But the bills we have already paid are about $3,000 and the hospital and the rest of the treatment could cost us over $5,000 and we just have nothing left. Not to mention my husband and our son cannot be around me for 10 days after my treatment so I have to buy some special supplies to make it work with where we live to keep them safe.
