Hi, my name is Kim. My son, Tyler, experienced a random act of violence, was hospitalized and underwent surgery to his left arm on Monday. While attempting to help a woman in distress, Tyler was viciously attacked on his bike in a shopping center parking lot by a man with a machete during an attempted robbery. He sustained multiple wounds to his left arm, one deep to the bone, and required surgery. He has been attempting to rebuild his life over the past few months, and now will be unable to work or ride his bike, and only has approximately one month left in his temporary residence. He is in need of some funds to cover basic needs, provide transportation and pay for follow up care of his wounds; he is unemployed and uninsured. Anything helps.
