Wet Wolfdogs & Muddy Mutts - We Need Your Help!
Donation protected
We are the Red Riding Hood Rescue Project, a nonprofit organization, located in Middletown, Ohio, dedicated to saving wolfdogs in need. Just this year, we hit our record number of rescued intakes at 26 wolfdogs! We are excited for our growth, but we are taking action now to ensure our future is set for success.
Our ever-growing rescue exists within a beautiful field, but the Ohio weather has not been kind to us these past spring seasons with heavy rains and runoff. As we continue to provide a home to more lives, we need more space and better conditions. We are hoping to embark on one of our biggest, and most impactful, capitol projects of The Red! This year we want to begin constructing our perimeter drains.
So, some drains, what does this really fix?
We aim to redirect the flow of water around our rescue's perimeter, and improve the natural drainage system, preventing it from flooding animal enclosures and keeping their homes much drier throughout all of the seasons. This would be a permanent solution and save us time, resources and money for our small nonprofit in the future. And the most important part, is that our wolfdogs will be dry, comfortable and safe always.
If you are able to help us support this vital project of The Red, please do so today. Your small contribution today will make a huge difference each day in the lives of our animals.
.... and a big difference in the daily work life of our animal care staff, see below for fun muddy workday photos!
