Wests' Mission: Save Dogs from Euthanasia

Hello dog lovers!

For a number of years, my husband and I ran a dog boarding business out of our rural MN property. As recent retirees, we brainstormed on what we would like to do with all of our extra free time. We've decided we wanted to continue to show our love for dogs by giving a loving home to those who are without one. Our goal is to seek out the dogs from shelters across the state and neighboring states that go unadopted, or scheduled to be euthanized, and take them in to live out their remaining time in a more natural setting. All while still offering the ability to adopt them.

We already have the infrastructure in place to house many dogs in a climate controlled shed with numerous kennels.

Why a GoFundMe? We are looking for donations to fence approximately one acre of lawn next to the shed so that the dogs have easy access to the outside world as they wish. If money allows it, we also wanted to put a 1 foot deep concrete pool within the fenced in area, for the dogs to lay or play in.

Money is only going towards the purchase of fencing to make our dreams become a reality, anything extra would be put towards food and toys.
