Hi my name is Keisha I came across Holly November 1st sleeping on her couch ,which was on a curb with the rest of her apartment. She had lost her part time job, that she worked along with getting social security. She lived in her apartment building with her beloved dog and cat for over 15 years. She fell behind on rent, a management company took over and she was evicted and I found her sleeping on the side of the road on her couch with her animals, she had been there for 2 nights. During this time someone tried to take her animals and assaulted her and she fell and cracked the back of her head open. Holly and I have called multiple senior income based apartments, shelters ,etc and everywhere is full. We have been on this ride since the side of the road. Her whole apartment is in storage. We don't know the condition of her household items as it was raining when she was outside. The members and community of Westpark in Cleveland,OH have shown up and out. We are still in need of funds. All of her money went to hotels, her 17 yr old cat was sick and she paid for vetcare and unfortunately had to make the tough, unselfish choice to have her humanely euthanized on New Years Eve. Any costs raised will go directly for her for vet bills for her ESA dog, future house/furniture, life expenses, housing, moving expenses when she finds housing and her current storage unit, which is 190.00 a month ,till she finds permanent housing.
