Weston's Brain Aneurysm Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On the evening of Wednesday March 18th, 2020, Weston was taken from his apartment to the hospital by ambulance and underwent emergency surgery due to a ruptured brain aneurysm at only 24 years old. These are often fatal, with a 60% survival rate. Through the grace of God, Weston defied the odds by surpassing numerous hours of excessive brain bleeding and survived his brain surgery. He has been in the ICU in a coma and has made slow progress each day. He is now breathing on his own, following minor commands, responding to questions, and has been able to walk with some assistance. He has been making gradual improvements each day; but may endure a long recovery ahead.
For those who don't already know Weston, he is a generous, level-headed, determined, brave, and compassionate person. He has touched the lives of so many people and always lights up the room when he walks in. He has a witty sense of humor and never takes life too seriously. He is a Seinfeld super fan, gun enthusiast, bad-ass skier, and is in training to become a sheriff deputy.
Fortunately, Weston does have health insurance, but he and his family will need assistance paying off the copay, deductibles, rent, potential physical therapy, and any other essential bills; as we are unsure when he will be able to return to work. It is our goal to provide Weston with as much financial aid and resources as we possibly can. Please help us raise money to support him- no donation is too large or too small.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"
Jeremiah 29:11
