My name is Shenika Sinclair, and I currently live in Ontario, Canada. I’m originally from Fort William in Westmoreland, Jamaica, a close-knit community that means so much to me.

On October 29, 2025, Hurricane Melissa made landfall in St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, and surrounding areas as a Category 5 hurricane, leaving widespread devastation across Jamaica’s south coast. Many families in Westmoreland, including my own, have lost their homes, belongings, and livelihoods. Entire communities are still struggling to access food, clean water, and shelter.

I’ve created this fundraiser to provide direct support to families in my community of Westmoreland, helping them rebuild and recover after this disaster.
