Westminster Award Charities

My name is Jake and I have recently completed my Cornwall Expedition, as part of the Westminster Award with the Cadet Vocational College (CV College).

I am raising money for 4 charities, the National Trust, Surfers Against Sewage, Shelter Box, and CV College, by cycling 350 miles (the distance from my house to Lands End).

The National Trust and Surfers Against Sewage act as a front-line defence in protecting our country's oceans, countryside, and history. Without them, people wouldn't be able to appreciate the beauty of nature and the stories of our past.

Shelter Box is a Humanitarian Aid Organisation that provides relief to countries in crisis. Shelter Box currently operates in Turkey, Cameroon, and multiple other countries, combating famine, war, and natural disasters.

CV College provides young cadets with vocational qualifications and invaluable experiences to make them well-rounded individuals. This charity aims at allowing teens and young adults to shine and set their path in life.
