I want start off by saying thank you for stopping by to check out what I have to say! Secondly, I want to acknowledge this is kind of a tough time to ask for assistance because of the holiday season so anything that you can give is so very appreciated. Even if you can just share this fundraiser helps a lot!

Okay so for those who may not know me, my name is Westley and I am a trans-masculine queer individual. I started my transition 12 years ago and it's been quite the journey. I have had quite a few gender affirming surgeries and this year was no exception! This year I ended up having two gender affirming surgeries and I feel like they couldn't have come at a better time. I was only planning on one surgery this year because it's one that I've been working on for a couple of years now. It was the last piece to my bottom surgery journey and I couldn't be happier with my decision. There was something missing and it was hard for me to connect with my body in the way I needed too.

The second surgery was something I didn't think I'd ever need again, but due to having to go back on estrogen it became a reality. I had to get a top surgery revision because the little breast tissue that was not removed the first time decided to grow more and I basically ended up with breasts again. I have to say that I never thought I would feel the strong pangs of dysphoria again around my chest, but it hit me like a freight train. I couldn't really look in the mirror without feeling grossed out at my own body. My mental health took quite a hit and I became depressed. I thankfully had the choice to get a revision with a wonderful surgeon here in Seattle and I couldn't happier or more relieved about my results. I feel even better than the first time I got top surgery.

But as you all may know it doesn't come without costs and I took a little bit of a hit even with insurance, so now I'm turning to GoFundMe to ask for a little bit of help. Like I said earlier I know this can be a tough time because of the holiday season, but anything and everything that you can donate will help tremendously and is VERY much appreciated!
