Westlake Baptist Building Fund

WHO WE ARE: My name is Pastor Paul Males Jr and I’m the pastor of Westlake Baptist Church. Westlake Baptist has a membership of about 100 people and we meet in the Westlake Recreation Center. We would love to have you come worship with us and share in our vision. We were founded in 1980 as Westside Baptist Temple in North Olmsted Ohio and later purchased a building in Rocky River Ohio. We changed our name to Rocky River Baptist Church because that was the community God placed us in. In 2006, the Lord moved us to Westlake Ohio and blessed us with three acres of property. We sold our building in Rocky River and paid off the property in Westlake Ohio. The property has a shed, garage and parking lot but no building. We have done thousands of dollars in improvements to the property as well as saving 65,000.00 in our vision fund. You can learn more about us by going to our website Westlake-baptist.com. Our problem is we are a small church and even though we own our property it has been difficult to secure the funding to build our building.

WHAT OUR GOAL IS: Even though we are small we have 2 nursing home ministries and help support seven missionaries. We would like to be a bigger blessing to the community but without a building it becomes difficult. God has blessed us with a beautiful place to worship on Sundays which is the Westlake Recreation Center. During the winter, we meet at Our Savior Lutheran on Wednesdays for bible study and prayer along with our youth ministries. June to September is my favorite time of year because we meet at our property for Wednesday services. Our goal is to build a building so we can have more ministries and be a bigger blessing to our community. I believe our community needs to have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I believe Christ is the answer too many of the problems facing our families, homes, and communities today and we want to be a part of getting the good news out.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING FROM YOU: Psalms 145:3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. We serve a great God who can do anything. We are asking you to pray and seek Gods will in this matter. Any donation would be appreciated. All the funds will go to the building project. You will also have a part in furthering Gods praise in the city of Westlake. I have included pictures of our building as well as the estimate to build our building.
