Westfield High School JV Cheer

Dear Friends,

This fall Westfield High School, in conjunction with Westfield PAL, launched a Junior Varsity Cheer Team.  This is wonderful news because it allows additional students to be a part of a Cheer Team, as well as provides Cheerleaders for Junior Varsity sports in additional to Varsity Football.  Unlike other teams at the High School, there was previously only a Varsity Cheer team, severely limiting the number of students able to participate.

As the PAL Cheer program has become increasingly popular in Westfield, there have been more and more girls interested in participating in High School Cheer.  This Junior Varsity team helps fulfill that need.

The JV Cheer team is a partnership between Westfield High School and Westfield PAL – the program will be run through the High School Athletic Department, but will be funded through PAL for costs including uniforms and advisors.

This is where we need your help.  In order to facilitate this program and to grow it towards the future of Cheerleading in the High School level, we will need to raise the funds to sponsor this years Junior Varsity Squad. The funds will go towards the coaching staff, training and spirit gear. These young ladies that are involved with this program are the pioneers of a new wave of rejuvenation of the Junior Varsity program again in the High School need your help. The PAL has graciously agreed to sponsor this team, but is asking us to help contribute to the cost.  We would like to show PAL, as well as Westfield High School, that there is large community support for this team, and are asking for your donations to help us do that.
