WHO WE ARE
We are a group of artists that have all recently made the decision to pursue our passions full-time. Collectively we are embarking on a journey to live our dreams as professional dancers, art-educators, and ethnographic-filmmakers. In doing so we will be taking a trip throughout Europe this summer to participate in various international urban dance events: Sommerkurse 2016 (Zurich, Switzerland: http://stylizeproductions.ch/sommerkurse2016)
International Break-dance Event (Heerlen, The Netherlands: http://thenotoriousibe.com) and Summer Dance Forever (Amsterdam, The Netherlands: http://www.summerdanceforever.com). This is an opportunity for all of us to network and grow as professional artists and be able to bring back and share with our local communities.
WHAT IS THE MONEY GOING TOWARDS?
As many know, traveling is not cheap especially throughout a place like Europe. Therefore, we are asking for support from our communities.
As individuals we have already covered our Airfares, food, general living expenses, and a portion of our accommodations. That leaves inter-country travel, event passes, and the remaining portion for accommodations.
The break down is as follows:
(4) Eurorail Passes x $600.00(each) = $2,400.00
(4) IBE festival Passes x $123.00(each) = $492.00
(4) Summer Dance Forever Passes x $200.00(each) = $800.00
