Westborough Pets' Recovery After Fire
Donation protected

I have been asked to make a very specific GoFundMe. Not specifically for the Westborough family, now houseless after a fire broke out in the midnight hour of November 3rd, but specifically for the happily rescued pets mentioned in every news article. Their story continues.
After being rescued, Chevy the dog and the four cats, Astrid, Cheddar, Twix, and Echo were all brought to Tufts to be checked out. Chevy was declared a "happy to leave that night" dog but all four cats needed to stay for more observation and a deep cleaning, as they were exposed to more smoke and soot than Chevy. Astrid, Cheddar, and Twix are now squeaky clean in health and fur and will be reunited with Chevy tonight. Unfortunately, Echo's lungs are having a hard time rebounding and is presently needing to stay inside an oxygen chamber.
The estimate costs for their aftercare is expected to be in the thousands, with an estimate for services rendered so far being between $1,000-$2,000. With Echo's length of stay determined on how quickly the treatment works, I have set an initial monetary goal of $5,000. I'm holding onto high hopes for Echo's speedy recovery, a taken care of final vet bill, and a smooth ending to this part of their "after the fire" story.
We, the people of Westborough, can be a part of their story. Every life story has grand characters. Our Westborough firefighters started this story off with the heroism required of their job. They and the assisting outside fire departments finished off Chapter One with the grateful climax ending of saving the pets from the devastation that was once their home. Chapter Two begins with the excellent vets at Tufts doing their best work and now comes the time for our entrance march. Any donation amount includes you. Any donation amount helps bring a happier end to this very expensive part of these animals story.
Thank you in advance from the animals (and of course from their people family, who will directly receive the funds).
A happy to have asked and a happy to be told how,
