We are proud to announce that the WV Slammers 10uB Summer All Stars are now officially recognized as one of the top teams in the nation for their division! They train hard, play harder and have earned the chance to compete in the 2022 USA Softball Girls’ 10B Fast Pitch Western National Championship in Salem, OR (July 25-31).
While this trip was unexpected, the families who support this talented team are committed to ensuring our girls are able to experience the opportunity they’ve worked so hard for. To ease the financial burden associated with travel, accommodations and unpaid time off for many of the chaperones, we are calling in support from our village. A donation of any size is more than appreciated.
How your donations will be used and distributed: Monies collected will go into a general pool and distributed equally amongst the players. Funds will first be used to offset the cost of hotel rooms (estimated $1200/player). Any remaining funds will be distributed as a per diem for players’ meals. After that, we will use funds to offset fuel costs for travel between San Jose, CA and Salem, OR.

About West Valley Slammers
West Valley Slammers uses softball to teach the benefits of an active life and help girls develop physically and emotionally toward adulthood. Youths learn to test limits, set goals, acquire self-discipline, and deal with the ups and downs, which are a reflection of life. The league is an entirely volunteer managed, 501 (C) non-profit.
