Hi! My name is Agustina Coretti, and I'm hoping to put on a student-run production of West Side Story next Spring through SCAD MT Club. The creative team is very excited to bring this revolutionary musical to life and highlight the Hispanic community at SCAD, but we need your help to be able to get the rights for this show!! This production will be completely student-run, and the purpose of this show is to create more opportunities to showcase students who are interested in musical theater!

Show Synopsis:

Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City as two young, idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.
