Not every young person in Liverpool gets the same chances, especially when opportunities and support are limited.
At Equal Vision, we work with young people facing disadvantage to help them build confidence, develop skills and access opportunities that can shape their future. A big part of our work is understanding the root causes of mental health challenges, working alongside young people to explore how things like crime, education and poverty impact their lives.
Through this, we see first-hand how access to opportunities can make a real difference, which is why we’re taking on a 21.5km sponsored walk to help fund IT training for young people in L8.
This training will give young people the chance to:
- Build practical IT and digital skills
- Grow in confidence
- Gain experience that supports education and employment
On the 26th July 2026 we’ll be walking 21.5km from West Kirby along the Wirral coastline, finishing in Birkenhead before getting the train from Hamilton Square into Liverpool.
The walk will be completed by a group of Equal Vision staff, volunteers and young leaders (aged 14+), working together to raise money and create opportunities for other young people.
If you’re able to, please consider:
- Donating whatever you can
- Sharing this page
- Supporting us along the way
Every bit of support makes a real difference.
