West Island Way
My dad Jack would have been 82 this weekend. I’m walking the West Island Way across the Island of Bute, one of his favourite places, in his memory.
Dad received a cancer diagnosis when he was in his early 60s. The skill and expertise of the Beatson gave him 17 more years after his diagnosis. Good years, too. We are forever grateful of their work for him, and the work they do for so many others.
I’m hoping to raise a few bob in dad’s name for them along the way.
