West Irondequoit Odyssey of the Mind World Finals
Donation protected
West Irondequoit Odyssey of the Mind (OOTM) has a long history of sending OOTM teams to the World Finals dating back to 2004. This district-sponsored program offers students in grades 4-12 the opportunity to join teams and solve various long-term problems to present at our local, state, and sometimes even international competitions! We are pleased to announce that we have two Iroquois Middle School teams qualifying to attend the 2023 World Finals, but they need some help fundraising to help offset the cost of this trip. Our teams will be traveling to Michigan State University in East Lansing and staying on campus from May 24-28. These Iroquois teams will join hundreds of other OOTM teams from around the World. During their stay teams will compete in both their long-term problem and the Spontaneous portion of the competition. Team members will also be emersed in educational and cultural experiences and so much more. Please consider donating and helping these two OOTM teams make memories for a lifetime!
Team members are: Problem 5 Division 2: Mitchell Getz, Oliver Sherwood, Peter Rinella, Matthew Crane, Marta Kauffman, Conrad Kamola, Anasophia Cartagena
Problem 2 Division 1: Henry Elias, Joseph Giglio, Henry Spencer, Elijah Lineman, Finnean St.Croix, Christopher Dys, James Pittinaro
