West Bloomfield Semi Trailer Fund Drive
The West Bloomfield Band Program is in need of a new semi-trailer! The trailer is used to transport instruments and equipment wherever the band is playing or competing.
The current trailer, which was built in 1973 and donated to the Band Program in 2000, has reached the end of its useful life. Continued usage increases the risk of damage to instruments and equipment. With your help, we can purchase a much newer, gently used trailer. We must raise funds to purchase, license and insure, paint and retrofit the exterior and interior of the trailer. We plan to do this through our Sponsorship Program as well as other fundraisers, including this one.
If you are a business owner and would like to purchase ad space on the new trailer, please visit the Sponsorship Program page.
About Us
The West Bloomfield School District is home to an award-winning band program comprised of approximately 300 students in grades 6 through 12.
In addition to robust and challenging band classes, the West Bloomfield Band Program offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including:
· Marching Band and Color Guard
· Winter Percussion
· Winter Color Guard
· Jazz Band
· MSBOA Solo & Ensemble
· MSBOA Festival
The Band Boosters Association of West Bloomfield (BBAWB) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to supporting the band programs at Orchard Lake Middle School, Abbott Middle School and West Bloomfield High School. The BBAWB includes families of band and color guard members, band program alumni and community supporters.
The award-winning band programs offered in the West Bloomfield School District contribute value to the community as a whole. Our young musicians thrive in the exceptionally nurturing environment provided through the support of hundreds of incredibly dedicated people. Our success depends on support from our past and present BBAWB members and their families, and our community.
Donations collected by way of this fundraiser will be administered by the Band Boosters Association of West Bloomfield , which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to the BBAWB are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Single donors of $250 or more will receive a formal acknowledgement letter from the BBAWB for use in claiming a tax deduction.
