My name is Zak, and I am from Cardiff - UK. I am setting up a fundraiser to help Wessal (وصال نافذ محمود كلاب) and her family overcome some of life's toughest challenges. It is the least anyone can do to help preserve human life.

Wessal is one of thousands of people faced with extreme living conditions in Gaza. She is seeking financial help so that she can feed her family, provide clean drinking water for them, and fund her online university course.

Here is her story:

"I am Wessal from Gaza, originally from Al-Shati Camp, now displaced for the fifth time, living in Al-Nuseirat Camp. Before this war, I was a nursing student at Al-Azhar University, enjoying life with friends who are now either scattered or martyred. Life has changed drastically. Basic necessities, like water, are now nearly impossible to access, and there’s no safe place to go. After losing our home, my family and I moved to a tent, which was bombed, injuring my parents and leading to my brother’s leg amputation.

Living in these conditions—constant bombing, lack of food, no winter clothes—feels unbearable. We are exhausted. I share my story with the hope that the world will see our suffering and help. We need your support more than ever. With gratitude, Wessal from Gaza".
