Wesley Windham Medical & Funeral Expenses

As many of you know, Wesley had a tragic fall on Sunday, March 6th and was care flighted to Dell Children's Hospital, where he was tended to until his passing on Tuesday, March 8th. Wesley will now be an organ donor to help save the lives of others. We have set up this account to help with the many expenses with the care flight, hospital and funeral costs that Chris & Kathrine will be facing in the days & months to come.

 

 

In Christopher's words:

"We're overwhelmed with sadness to share that our sweet baby boy Welsey passed from this earthly life yesterday, March 8th. At the same time, through prayer and faith, God has provided us with the peace that surpasses all understanding that we find in Philippians 4:6-7 "...And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus". We can have this peace because we know that Matthew 18:1-10 tells us that innocent children will see the face of God and that unless we too are innocent like them, we will not see God's face in heaven. And we so badly want to be confident, along with all those reading this, that we will see our little Wesley again in heaven. But how can we as sinners (Romans 3:23) have that confidence? We can know, that if we have heard and believe the gospel (Romans 10:17), repent of our sins (Acts 2:38), confess Jesus as the Christ (Romans 10:10) and are baptized with much water to wash away our sins (Acts 2:38, Acts 8:36-39, 1 Peter 3:21) then we can know we have been made innocent again, like all children including our sweet Wesley so we may join him again some day in heaven. And just as Welsey inspires us spiritually to want to walk the straight and narrow path to heaven, he leaves us inpsired physically as a hero donor and we know his physical legacy will live on through those donations that will help change so many other lives for the better. As we are saddened to lose him, there are other families getting the best call of their lives that they have found a donor. He will forever be our little hero. Thank you all for the outpouring of love and prayers. We are overwhelmed by the love we have of our immediate families, spiritual family, and all the friends we have. We will let everyone know about Wesley's celebration of life as soon as we can."
