Wesley Williams’ Motorcycle Accident

I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on 11/4/2020. I was on my way to Costco after work to get kitty food when I was struck by a driver.

I have been in a medically induced coma for about two weeks now. I finally woke up about three days ago at Northridge  hospital. When I woke up I found out that now I am missing my left leg from the knee down. The doctors did everything they could to save the leg including multiple surgeries, but in the end they couldn’t save it. I have a pin in my left femur. I have thoracic outlet syndrome (nerve damage connecting my spine and my left arm). A traumatic brain injury. Also, a C8 compression fracture.

I am so grateful to be alive after this ordeal.

This is a chance for me to reinvent my life and for me to become a new me with my new limitations, and for that I need to ask for help. It bemoans me to have to reach out to my motorcycle community during my time of need, but it needs to be done. Anything you can spare will go a long way. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this hard time.
