Wesley Maroniuk funeral expenses
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jody Jacobucci. My daughter Alyson Maroniuk is the daughter of Wes Maroniuk who passed away unexpectedly on April 19th, 2025 at his home. Wes struggled for the last 15 years with severe mental illness and addiction. Family and friends over time tried intervening to offer help but Wes was a proud and stubborn man. The one most important person in his life was his daughter Aly. Aly in the last few months was starting to rebuild her relationship with her Dad, talking about the future which would include him. Aly also struggles with anxiety. The unexpected passing of her father has left her completely paralyzed with emotions. Alyson is not well off financially at the age of 25. She barely is making ends meet on a monthly basis and now we are being told that Social Services will not help cover the cost of a service. Wes did not feel he deserved a service but anyone who knew him knows that he had a good heart and was always willing to help out. He deserves this but more importantly Alyson needs this for closure. It is a tragic situation. She has had to miss a couple weeks of work as a result of his horrible passing plus is being held with the burden of paying for a service. I ask you to please find it in your hearts to please help her out. Wes unfortunately had no will or executor so we are hitting road blocks everywhere we turn. He was unable to hold employment for more than a month here and there over the last 9 years. Funds will go to pay for the cost of a small service or social gathering (depending on amount raised) so that she and loved ones will be able to gather together to say a proper goodbye and share. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported myself and Alyson thus far including Wes's neighbors, Levi, Nicole and Devon and Joe, realtor Paul Chavady, Cole at Mourning Glory, and Cammy at Affinity CU and both Aly's and my own employers for your patience and understanding during this emotional and stressful time along with our partners Calvin Dyck and family and Austin Merrett and family. Wes leaves behind Aly, his brother Darren (Charlene), sister Janet (Roger) nephews and nieces and more friends than he realized.
