Hey everyone, we are starting this page because Wesley is currently in the ICU. He has been on & off sick for the past month or so but just recently he got RSv - which let to respiratory failure as well as sepsis. He is stable and showing great signs of improvement.

Robert and I just welcomed Jack into the family in June and I had literally just went back to work for a week before Wesley got sick. Both of our jobs are amazing and allowing us the time away to be here with Wesley while he is the ICU. But that’s all we can do with our jobs. We do not have paid time off or any of way to receive income.

We do not know how long he will in the hospital in total. He will have to move down in levels of care to be appropriate to go home. We don’t know what he will need to do following the discharge - therapies & such are probably in his future as they already were.

We do not have nearly enough money saved anywhere to cover bills, living expensive or the gas to drive from our home to Duke Hospital daily. We are asking for help in anyway people can. As well as expenses that will follow after discharge with his therapies and anything else that comes.

He is our entire world and everyone he meets he has an impact on. He’s caring, sweet, funny, brave, strong & unique. He’s been through more than any 4.5 year old should have to go through. This has been the worse experience we have been through. To see this 110% full of energy and life kid stopped in his tracks, hurts. We need wes to feel better so he can be with his brother again and we can all be together.
