Help for Wesley Howard
Donation protected

This past week the Howard Family took a long awaited family vacation to Florida. On Monday, July 13th, Wesley began to develop petichia (tiny red or purple spots, broken blood vessels) all over his body. By the time Tuesday rolled around, the Howards reached out to a family physician from back home that instructed them to go straight to the emergency room.
Once they arrived, they were told that Wesley had a platelet count of 1. (Normal is 150,000-450,000) He was then immediately admitted to Largo Medical Center. 4 blood transfusions later, his count is still currently at 1. He will not even be considered to leave the hospital to come back to Ohio until his count comes up considerably. This may take quite some time. The doctors are still not sure what is causing this.
Cindy, his mother, was able to be with him in the ER, but once he was admitted, was not allowed to be with him anymore due to Covid-19. The separation is painful on the entire Howard Family who are on standby as they wait to hear from the doctors that are working on his case.
All of us wish we could be there to sit with, pray for, and encourage this precious family in one of their greatest times of need. The hospital stay and medical bills will be significant. One MAJOR way to help is if we ban together to lift the burden of finances off of the Howards. Now is our chance to stand alongside our Brothers and Sisters in Christ and say with confidence that we are with them, even if we can't be physically.
Please continue to pray for Wesley and his family. Needs arise daily and we will do our best to keep you updated on how to help.
