Wesley has been my friend Ali’s loyal companion and best friend for the past six years, ever since Ali adopted him when his previous owner could no longer care for him. Through life’s ups and downs, Wesley has been a constant source of comfort, a gentle and loving presence, and a big brother to Ali’s other cat, Mila.

Recently, Wesley became critically ill with a severe urinary blockage, a life-threatening condition that left him unable to urinate. He was rushed to the emergency vet, where he underwent urgent treatment, including catheterization. Although he was briefly sent home, his condition quickly worsened—he began bleeding, making frequent painful attempts to urinate, and became so weak he would collapse from exhaustion.

Wesley is now hospitalized and undergoing intensive care as veterinarians work to stabilize him and determine the next steps. So far, Ali has spent over $10,000 trying to save his best friend, and the costs continue to rise.
