UPDATE!:

Wesley is home! They ended up not doing surgery and he was able to pass the staples just fine luckily my sister fed him bread right after he ate the staples so they bonded to the bread

He is safe at home recovering and did a great job and saved us $10,000 but even then the vet bill is steep so the GofundMe stays up with a new goal at

$3,500

Tuesday, April 7th, my 9-month-old puppy got hold of a stapler and ingested a large number of staples.

He wasn't showing signs of discomfort, but we decided to take him to the ER out of precaution, and damn, it was the right move.

They took X-rays and over 20 staples in his belly. They are performing surgery as quickly as they can because if he were to pass them or throw them up, it could be life-threatening.

However, this will cost around 10,000 dollars.

No one I know has that kind of money, and there are only so many credit card gods you can pray to.
