As many of you know, Asheville, NC, has been hit with devastating floods. We're incredibly thankful that our friends, Bill Wescott and his wife and two young daughters are safe, but their home has suffered severe damage and is currently uninhabitable. Both of their cars were also lost, and it's unlikely insurance will cover all the damages.
If you've ever met Bill, you know what an incredible person he is, always selflessly helping others and impacted so many lives.
We’re asking for any support you can provide to help Bill, his family, and their community rebuild. Donations could potentially go to insurance deductibles, lost wages, cleanup and repairs, new vehicles, all their children's belongings.
Please consider donating whatever you can. And please, share this with as many people as possible.

Power is still out for about 1 million people, including their area. Bill said they are trying to conserve their cellphone battery power so he doesn't turn it on much. He said they have some drinking water still and random dry goods. Everyone's fridge is defrosting so they ended up with a couple of hot meals which is nice. They are staying positive and the neighbors are helping each other. Bill said, one of their 9-year-old neighbors helped shovel mud out of their house today with a snow shovel. He said the water was up to the window and it's like they're on an island. All the roads are closed in and out of there.
If you have any updates on services in the area, please share them.
Thank you to everyone who's helping!
