Hello, I'm reaching out to you because I have decided to start a GoFundMe and help to contribute to Wes's wife and two kids. 

On June 28, 2019 Westley Winn was taken from us.  He passed away in a tragic car accident on his way to work.  He leaves behind a loving wife, and two wonderful kids ages 1 and 2.  Family and loved ones, aviators, colleagues and friends are mourning the loss of this young aviator.  Our hearts are broken.  

Wes started his career in aviation at Delta Connection Academy.  He then went on to Mesa Airlines and was currently working as a first officer at JetBlue Airways.  He was recently awarded a captain position with JetBlue but hadn't started training.  

I met Wes in flight training in 2001.  We became instant best friends.  He always lit up the room when he walked in.  Wes left a lasting impression on everyone he met.  He will be missed more than words can express.
