Wes New- Staalberg

     Wes is having open heart surgery at Riverbend-  December 22-

Wes is in ICU and recovery process has started 

     Wes has one of the kindest hearts , infectious smiles and genuine laughs. Wes is not great at asking for help but he is going to need it, and he would be the first to help any of us. The force is strong with this one.

   Please don't call him for a few days, but you may send texts. He will not be feeling super great for a few days

      Wes will under go Quadruple Bypass surgery. This is an open heart procedure that I happen to know a little about. It is a very long recovery but on the good side he will feel much much better when it's all done . It will be about 9 weeks before Wes can start driving Taxi again, but even then lifting a suitcase over 20 pounds will be a no-no.
   
        I know this may be a tight time to be giving with the holidays next week and in early January Acoustic Folly will be performing a benefit concert at the Jackalope to help Wes and that may be a better time to donate.  Plus this page will be around for awhile. 
       
      I believe if everything goes well he should be getting out of Riverbend around December 28 , but he may need some people around in shifts or meal trains . Wes may also need some help getting to post op visits and cardio rehab . There are a lot of ways of helping

Wes will need basic living expenses for a couple of months. Please donate what you can to help with this expenses...
