Hey y’all, Wes here. I haven’t told a lot of people about this, but I had a colonoscopy back in January, and, long story short(colorectal cancer) I’ve been doing chemo, radiation with ancillary chemo and chemo again. I have an MRI scheduled for next week which will let us know if I’m ready for surgery yet. They hope to get it out and that I’ll be Cancer-free. Thank God for Obamacare and the folks at Va. Cancer Institute and Sarah Cannon Cancer center(How-DY!). But there are cracks, and between inflation and diminished work capacity, I’m a bit skint as they say in the UK. As a result I’m reaching out to you, my friends, for a bit of a boost. Give what you can if you’re a mind to, or buy a print, I’m still filling those tubes as much as possible. Wish us luck please, or say a prayer if you’re so inclined, for myself, Jackie(who is relentless in her efforts to get us through this), and for all our friends who are fighting their own battles with this utter bastard of a disease.
