In Honor of Wes Francis

My name is Cian McCarthy and Wes was my best friend down here in Charleston. We were both transplants from the north and relied on eachother for a lot.. especially when we felt we had no one down here. He touched a lot of lives and was there for anyone who needed it. We would play pool a few days a week at a number of spots downtown aka Rec Room, Burns Alley, Big Gun, etc. and do pop ups at a few spots like Lucky Luchador, Recovery Room, Lo Fi, etc. He was a well known man around these parts. Well loved.

I’ve wanted to make Wes a few plaques and place them at some of the bars he loved to go to, and maybe a couple engraved pool sticks with his name on them at Big Gun, Rec Room and Burns Alley. I know everyone has been on board with this idea since we mentioned it, but I feel like this is the best way to get money so I can get the ball rolling and order these things in honor of Wes.
