Sending 7 Teens to Tony Robbins GYLS Program

Hello, my name is Edwin Deras and I’m from Rockville, Maryland. I’m a big follower of Tony Robbins work and the change he helps make on people’s lives. My relationship to the parties involved is as a fan of Tony Robbins’ work and as someone whose life has transformed as a result of being exposed to his teachings. I attended my first Tony event in 2008 when I was at the lowest point in my life and I was able to transform my emotions, my vision for my life, my health, my relationships, and my finances.
The funds that we raise will be used to send teens to Tony’s Global Youth Leadership Program that he does each and every year. We will be reaching out to a non-profit called Underground Railroad to identify these teens as well as another organization called Free a Girl that helps free children and teens from sex-trafficking slavery.
After identifying sex-trafficking victims, we plan to use the money in the following manner: 1) contacting the Tony Robbins foundation to purchase tickets for the yearly non-profit GYLS event to send teens we identified. These tickets usually cost $650.00. 2) we will be purchasing airfare for any teens to attend the events so that the teens do not need to put out any money out of their pocket. Each teen will be covered all-inclusive including airfare and lodging.
Tony Robbins’ Global Youth Leadership Program is a 6 day non-profit program that Tony Robbins foundation hosts every year for teens 14-16. This is a 6 day all-day and night leadership event that shows teens to step into their power and become the best leader that they can be in the world.
We always get opportunities to turn tragedies into miracles. Horrific events can turn into stepping stones for a new dreams, for new possibilities. The world isn’t about forgetting what has happened to these teens. It’s about empowering them to create a new identity and new destiny. Please donate any amount that you are able to in order to send these 7 teens to Tony Robbins’ GYLS event this year in San Diego.
