Meg and Matt's Brighton Marathon
Meg & Matt are running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 6th April for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in honour of loved ones who have sadly suffered in the hands of this cruel disease.
You read that right, 26.2 miles… voluntarily. No one’s chasing us, there’s no prize at the end (except maybe a well earned pint)…and we even paid to do this. Please help us make it worth our while by donating our chosen cause, the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Unfortunately, cancer touches everyone in some way during their lifetime, and we want to do our part to make a difference and fund vital research to help beat cancer as soon as possible.
The Royal Marsden funds life-saving testing, world-class care, and pioneering treatments, giving hope to thousands facing this disease. Every step we take is for our loved ones past and present who have suffered in the hands of cancer. Please consider supporting us on our marathon challenge, and make every sleepy 5am start and dark drizzly training run worth it, by helping us to raise vital funds for an amazingly worthwhile cause and make a real impact!
We can’t thank you enough for your support and we’ll thank you in person next time we see you. (However if it’s actually at the finish line we’ll likely be crying and in need of a large chips, so maybe catch us the day after!)
