Help Us Reach the Start Line of the 2027 World's Toughest Row
Hi, we’re Adi, Cady, Dave, and Tim and in 2027 we will be rowing unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean – covering 3,000 miles from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean.
Through the row we want to raise support for marine protections and help create opportunities for people on and in the water.
Why We're Fundraising Now
The early phase of this journey is the hardest to fund. It is also the most important.
Before we can begin this row we must first get to the startline. That means funding the equipment and training required to take on a challenge of this magnitude.
Your Support Has a Multiplier Effect
After speaking with past teams, one thing is clear:
Once we are on the water, doors begin to open.
Sponsors, corporate partners, and major donors become far more willing to support teams locked into this event. That means:
1. Your donation helps us enter the race, so we can row for this cause
2. It enables us to raise much larger amounts later, dramatically increasing the total we can direct toward our causes
3. It accelerates our ability to protect ocean ecosystems and create opportunities on the water
The cause
Each one of our team has experienced the impact that water can have on a person’s life. Whether through rowing, sailing, or diving, connection with the water has shaped who we are. It has also left us increasingly aware of the magnitude of threats arrayed against these spaces.
We want to extend opportunities on the water where they would otherwise be absent. At the same time, we want to support action being taken to protect and restore ocean spaces. Though distinct, these are not separate goals. We believe that when people and water are brought together, both can be left better for it.
We hope you’ll join us
