On October 30, 2025, our hearts were shattered when we lost the kindest, most loving, and happiest little boy, Thomas Michael Pratt.
Thomas was an aspiring magician, a role model for his younger cousins, and a friend to many. He loved going to school and being a teammate on his t-ball, basketball, and soccer teams. He could also be found tussling with his cousins at any given time. Thomas developed a love for reading early in life and loved lying with his mom, reading two books before bed. He was a self-proclaimed “cat guy” and loved to be cozied into a nest to watch a show or movie with his family. Thomas loved going golfing with his dad and uncles, and was really starting to tap into the power of his “Tommy juice”. If Thomas wasn’t at home hanging with his family, he was likely at his Grandma and Grandpa Pratt's house working on his beloved Lego kit collection or scouring the beach at his Grandy and Papa’s for dinosaur fossils and lake glass. Thomas had an endless curiosity and zest for soaking up all that life had to offer. It is not possible to mention all of the wonderful qualities and interests that made Thomas the wonderful and unique individual that he was
Thomas passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Right now, there are no clear answers as to why this happened. Our family is devastated and trying to navigate this unimaginable loss one day at a time.
In his final hours, Thomas gave the ultimate gift — the gift of life. He became an organ donor, and his heart, liver, and kidneys have already gone on to save and improve the lives of at least four people. Even in this tragedy, Thomas continues to shine his light and make the world a better place.
A brief service will be held at Holy Family in Essex at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, followed by a celebration of life next door until 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
We are Thomas’s great-aunt and great-uncle, Henry and Katrina Antonovich.
