We’re being evicted and need to find a home.

Dear family and friends, I’m ashamed to even have to do this. For the last six months my Granny, my son, and I have been living in a 2 bedroom tiny house on my previous employers property. I was handed an eviction notice in September which runs out at the end of the month. I have tried to receive housing assistance from the VA and other resources but have been denied over and over again because I’m somehow overqualified. I have applied to 3 homes for rent and have been denied due to lack of rental history and my Granny’s poor credit. For the last two months I have had to cease working full-time and take care of my Granny as she goes to dialysis three times a week as well as numerous other medical appointments. I’m extremely stressed out and have no other options. All donations will be used for deposit fees and household items. When we find a home will won’t have any basic household items. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please share. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
