We're all with you Frank

Hello, I'm Natalie and I am fundraising for my good friend Frank who is facing the hardest time of his life.

On May 10th he got his OFFICIAL diagnosis - Multiple Myeloma - a type of blood cancer that attacks the bones. "Took me a while to process what my doctor was saying, I was shocked and dumbfounded. There is no certain cause for this he said."

What started off as a limp and pain in his right leg and pain in his left shoulder in early February, turned out to be this type of blood cancer. As his first urgent treatment, Frank had to undergo surgery for a new right hip and a rod in his femur but sadly that was just the beginnning of a long fight ahead of him.

He has since done chemotherapy, radiation and he is preparing to go for a stem cell transplant this coming week, over and above all the medications he needs to take. Needless to say, this horrific journey is not only physically and mentally exhausting but also financially draining. Frank has been off work since March due to his debilitating condition and is unlikely to return until the end of next year provided all goes according to his treatment plan.

To all who know Frank, you know how kind and generous he has been to all those around him. And now, he needs us more than ever. This is our time to step up and care about him and what he's going through. While this sadly is his journey, he need not go it alone.
