Wenzler’s Warriors

As many of us have learned, our dear friend, colleague, advisor, and confidante has been handed a pretty heavy cancer diagnosis this past week. Chris mentioned that his kids, Madeline and Oliver, might need rides to/from their summer jobs this year. Let's do better than this; let's join together to get those Wenzler kids a car. They need to get to their summer jobs, of course, but they also might be called upon to run errands and help their dad (and mom) in any way possible. I read somewhere "there is no such thing as other peoples' children." So, Maddie and Oliver, we all LOVE YOU because we truly love YOUR DAD. As you already know, he is the best of the best.

As Chris and Melissa and Madeline and Oliver have served so many of us with friendship and joy, let us dig deep and offer a little help today. Whether you have been touched by Chris' life at John Carroll or through his many connections in Cleveland, we know Chris' first loves are his wife, Melissa, and Madeline and Oliver. Along with our prayers of faith and healing, let's give from our pockets, too.

All money donated will obviously go to the Wenzlers! We can get this going, and when Chris is all healed and all bills are paid, they can take a vacation with the leftover funds!

I am a former colleague of Chris' from John Carroll. I live in Hudson, Ohio. I am simply a friend who recognized a need to help, and knew we'd all support Chris and the Wenzlers with an established platform. The funds will be spent on a car for the Wenzler kids and any medical and other expenses incurred by the family during Chris' treatments and recovery. Chris and Melissa Wenzler will have sole access to the account.
