Liebe Freunde, Bekannte und Menschen mit großem Herzen,

heute wenden wir uns mit einer Bitte an euch, die uns allen sehr schwerfällt.

Unsere liebe Kollegin Marlene erlebt derzeit die wohl schwerste Zeit ihres Lebens. Ihr Ehemann liegt nach einem schweren Fahrradunfall seit inzwischen sieben Wochen im Koma. Die medizinischen Aussichten sind leider sehr schlecht, und die Familie muss sich darauf einstellen, dass er nach der Rehabilitation dauerhaft in einem Pflegeheim untergebracht werden muss.

Von einem Tag auf den anderen ist für Marlene und ihre beiden kleinen Kinder nichts mehr so, wie es einmal war.

Neben der enormen emotionalen Belastung kommen nun existenzielle finanzielle Sorgen hinzu. Die laufenden Kosten für die Familie bleiben bestehen: Miete, Lebenshaltungskosten, die Versorgung der Kinder und künftig die zusätzlichen Belastungen durch die Pflege ihres Mannes.

Trotz aller Bemühungen droht der Familie eine finanzielle Notlage bis hin zur Privatinsolvenz.

Wir möchten verhindern, dass sich Marlene neben ihrer Sorge um ihren Mann und ihre Kinder auch noch um ihre wirtschaftliche Existenz sorgen muss.

Deshalb haben wir diese Spendenaktion ins Leben gerufen.

Today, we are reaching out to you with a request that is incredibly difficult for all of us.

Our dear colleague Marlene is currently facing what is likely the most difficult time of her life. Her husband has been in a coma after a severe bike accident for seven weeks now. Unfortunately, the medical outlook is very poor, and the family must prepare for the reality that, after rehabilitation, he will require permanent care in a nursing facility.

From one day to the next, life changed completely for Marlene and her two young children.

In addition to the immense emotional burden, the family is now facing serious financial challenges. The ongoing expenses remain the same: rent, daily living costs, caring for the children, and, in the future, the additional costs associated with her husband's long-term care.

Despite all efforts, the family is at risk of severe financial hardship and even personal bankruptcy.

We want to help ensure that Marlene can focus on caring for her husband and children without also having to worry about her family's financial survival.

That is why we have started this fundraising campaign.

What will the donations be used for?
